Robs Charity Bike Ride for
'Breakthrough Breast Cancer'

Fundraisers from organisations within the West Midlands go pink on a 100 mile charity bike ride to help in the fight against breast cancer.

Charity fundraisers from the West Midlands are planning to Go Pink this weekend to support the pioneering charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer contributing to Octobers Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The charity supporters are raising vital funds for breast cancer research by taking part in a 100 mile bike ride from Wolverhampton to Aberdovey on Saturday 24th September 2011.

Robert Hupperdine our company Director who is organising the event says:

“Supporting Breakthrough Breast Cancer is so important because everyone knows someone who has been affected by this dreadful condition. I am taking part in this year’s event in memory of a dear friend who died recently as a result of breast cancer. We are really looking forward to this weekend’s event and raising money for Breakthrough.”

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK and nearly 1,000 women die of the disease each month. Breakthrough Breast Cancer is leading the fight against the disease by developing new treatments, raising awareness and campaigning for better services for patients. Money raised from our fundraising campaign will be spent on this vital research, campaigning and education work.
