Nutcracker’s association with Burcas has been a long and mutually beneficial business relationship.
For many years Burcas was a precision engineering company specialising in precision tooling for bearing manufactures/precision grinding of guillotine and industrial knife blades plus component suppliers for the automotive industry. With the major loss of companies such as Rover and the overseas manufacture of other brands such as Peugeot/Ford and Vauxhall, Burcas needed to find new long term markets.
After a meeting with the company, Nutcracker advised Burcas to consider the long term opportunities presented by the international aerospace market. The company commissioned a detail survey of its engineering potential by a recognised aerospace specialist. The results of the study were mostly positive, thus Burcas embarked on a long term investment program to enable its transission to manufacture components for the international aerospace market.
Nutcracker advised on the availability of grant funding for various aspects of the project including marketing and then successfully assisted in acquiring the funding. Nutcracker produced various bespoke marketing material including brochures/audio visual presentation CD’s/press release material/press advertising/the design and supply of exhibition stand equipment and graphics/project management of a intense 12 month press campaign.
Nutcracker has also been instrumental in working with Burcas’s sales and marketing staff at the Farnborough International Air show, introducing the company the high profile business partners including Goodrich Aerospace, AF Aerospace and Accles and Pollock.
